The Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnerships (TAPs) provide direct technical assistance to industrial facilities and other large energy users with identifying and implementing technology options for achieving site-specific energy objectives. Technical assistance for end users can include a broad range of services in support of onsite energy project deployment, from the earliest stages of screening for multi-technology solutions, to the end stages of post-installation operation. The Onsite Energy TAPs also conduct outreach and engage with policymakers, utilities, and other key stakeholders to accelerate pathways for integration of onsite energy technologies. The Screening Tool for Industrial Resilience (STIR) is a risk-informed resilience assessment tool that supports manufacturing plants in evaluating their resilience posture. Based on user inputs, the tool identifies critical assets, critical inputs, key processes, and hazards that make up the key risk drivers at the plant. Additionally, the tool provides a short-list of potential resilience solutions based on the identified risk drivers. These outputs are intended to be the first step in developing, prioritizing, and implementing resilience solutions that address the plant’s key risk drivers and therefore improve resilience posture and decrease risk from disruptions at the plant. The purpose of this database is to provide current information on service life and maintenance costs of typical HVAC equipment. Engineers depend on accurate owning and operating data to make decisions involving the life cycle and functionality of buildings. However, lack of sufficient up-to-date data makes it difficult to provide a solid basis for those decisions. Previous efforts to collect data through traditional survey methods have produced less than acceptable results.
